That’s what one Indiana farmer is reporting with a fifth of the corn harvested. And in a HAT Field Update, John Hussey in Tipton County said he feels very fortunate.“We started on the corn around the twentieth of September and have been very pleasantly satisfied with the yields from our early corn. It was down about 10 percent from what we had in the past, but we just feel blessed to get the crops we’re getting here when so many people are not so fortunate.”Beans are better than expected too.
