By the time the relatives realised and caught hold of the accused, Srihitha breathed her last. The same day, Praveen was sent to remand. We have collected CCTV camera footage besides conducting DNA test of the accused,” the Commissioner said.The police also gathered information pertaining to the case from 38 witnesses including three eye-witnesses, he said. The post-mortem report is ready and will soon the accused will be charge-sheeted, he said. The Commissioner said that the evidence collected by the police is corroborative to prove the guilt of the accused. “This sentence the accused would get would be an eye opener to those perverts,” Ravinder said.last_img
